Responsibilities
1.
Sales Strategy, Forecasting & Regional Execution
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned
with organizational goals.
- Forecast sales needs and prepare annual budgets with
accuracy and insight.
- Analyze performance variances and implement
high-quality corrective actions.
- Drive aggressive sales campaigns to maintain dominance
in the market.
- Retain and grow key relationships to expand both
liability and asset portfolios.
2.
Leadership, Coaching & Team Development
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a high-performing regional
team.
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual
reviews with RBM and Retail Heads.
- Mentor DSRs, Bankers, and Sales Managers to sharpen
productivity and professionalism.
- Establish a strong culture of accountability and
ownership.
- Ensure the sales team receives continuous training in
sales techniques and soft skills.
3.
Product Improvement & Market Intelligence
- Monitor customer needs, economic shifts, and competitor
actions.
- Provide detailed intelligence to guide product
refinement and customer experience enhancement.
- Recommend improvements that help the bank exceed the
expectations of evolving customer segments.
4.
Sales Planning, Analysis & Performance Monitoring
- Develop comprehensive regional sales plans to support
national annual targets.
- Conduct deep analysis of sales reports and branch performance
data.
- Propose actionable solutions for underperforming teams
or branches.
- Strengthen agent relationships to grow customer
acquisition rates.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to optimize
processes and product flows.
5.
Customer Engagement & Business Growth
- Conduct branch visits to evaluate support needs and
build rapport with staff.
- Visit institutional and individual clients to expand
business opportunities.
- Participate in regional customer forums and networking
events.
- Leverage the bank’s corporate sponsorships and
high-level events to drive new business.
Daily Responsibilities
Your day-to-day tasks combine
strategy, fieldwork, leadership, and direct customer engagement:
- Drive daily regional performance and hit targeted
growth numbers.
- Analyze daily and periodic reports to identify
opportunities and gaps.
- Provide consistent coaching and feedback to sales teams
and branches.
- Handle administration duties for regional business
development.
- Visit customers and potential clients to boost wallet
share.
- Ensure all team activities align with performance
targets and KPIs.
Minimum Qualifications & Required Experience
Academic
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any business-related field
(Marketing preferred).
- Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Professional Banking qualifications also provide an
extra edge.
Professional
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales,
Marketing, Banking operations, or Team Management.
- Proven ability to lead multi-level sales teams.
- Demonstrated experience in market expansion, strategy
execution, and customer acquisition.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational
skills.
