Key Duties and Responsibilities
As an ICFC Driver, you will support
the smooth implementation of all project activities. Your responsibilities will

Transportation of Staff and Materials
- Safely transport project staff to Kigali-based and
field locations.
- Deliver important project documents, supplies,
materials, and equipment.
- Ensure punctuality and follow all transport schedules.

Vehicle Maintenance and Safety
- Perform regular vehicle inspections before and after
every trip.
- Monitor fuel usage, tire pressure, and general vehicle
conditions.
- Assist the line manager in scheduling vehicle servicing
and maintenance.
- Ensure the vehicle is always clean and fully
roadworthy.

Record Keeping and Documentation
- Maintain detailed trip logs, fuel records, mileage
sheets, and incident reports.
- Ensure documents such as insurance, inspection
certificates, and vehicle registration are always up to date.
4.
Communication and Team Support
- Communicate effectively with project staff about
transport needs.
- Alert the Finance Assistant or line manager immediately
in case of mechanical issues.
- Support additional tasks assigned during field missions
or office operations.
This role requires a high level of
responsibility, discipline, and respect for safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience Required
To qualify for this role, applicants
must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
Requirements
- Must be a Rwandan national
- Must hold a valid Category B driving license
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Experience working with NGOs or donor-funded projects
is an added advantage
- Excellent knowledge of local roads and travel routes
across districts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated defensive driving and road safety
awareness
- Basic mechanical and vehicle maintenance knowledge

Requirements
- No formal education required. Skills, experience, and professionalism are the most
