Job
Title: Front of House Supervisor
The Front of House Supervisor
(FOH) plays a vital role in maintaining the heart of The Nest’s hospitality
experience. You’ll oversee both the restaurant floor and reception
operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly — from guest check-ins to
table service.
This role requires someone who is organized,
people-centered, and service-driven. You’ll work closely with the kitchen,
reception, and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination and deliver exceptional
guest experiences every day.
Key
Responsibilities
Guest
Experience & Service Excellence
- Lead by example by delivering warm, professional, and
engaging service.
- Handle guest concerns promptly and tactfully, ensuring
every issue is resolved with care.
- Manage group bookings, events, and corporate
functions.
- Create and manage the restaurant and bar event
calendar (happy hours, themed dinners, etc.).
- Recommend and implement improvements in check-in,
dining, and bar operations.
Team
Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise waitstaff, bar, and reception teams
during shifts.
- Conduct daily service briefings, allocate tables, and
ensure effective communication between teams.
- Coach, train, and motivate staff to maintain The Nest’s
signature hospitality culture.
- Support staff recruitment, onboarding, and
performance reviews.
Operations
& Administration
- Manage reservations, billing, and POS transactions
accurately.
- Ensure efficient guest flow and optimal table turnover
without compromising experience quality.
- Monitor stock and maintain FOH supplies (menus,
uniforms, cutlery, etc.).
- Uphold strict standards of hygiene, safety, and
organization.
- Assist in event planning and on-site coordination when
needed.
Education
& Professional Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates
should have:
- A Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Hotel
Management, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in hotel or restaurant front-of-house operations.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- A proven track record of delivering excellent
customer service.
